This post starts Grandpa Bill's side of the family

Grandpa Bill's family was made up of the Greenbergs on his father's side of the family and the Hendlers on his mother''s side of the family.  Zaida (the Jewish word for grandpa) Sam was grandpa Bill's Father.  Bubba (the Jewish word for grandma) was Grandpa Bill's mother.  I am going to start posting the photo's of their ancestors.  Some I can identify.  Others I will need some help with.  If any of my wonderful cousins have photos you want me to post, please send them to me with some identification.

Sarge was grandpa Bill's first cousin.  His father Joe Hendler was Bubba Rose's brother.  When Sidney and Sheryl were in Philadelphia with their family we went traipsing through little streets and alleys until we found the home that Joe first came to (on Bodine Street) when her arrived in this country.  Pete, Dominique and Max were with us too.

The first picture is of  (left to right) Grandma Elaine, Pauline (Sarge's wife)Aunt Esther (grandpa Bill's sister and Sarge on the bottom.  I believe all of these pictures are about 1935.  Remember that I told you Aunt Jenny, Sarge's mother, brought Elaine to Philly to steal Sarge from Pauline.  She met grandpa and fell in love with him.  They also all loved Pauline and Sarge.
